Our Support Team is happy to assist you with building out your quick action buttons.  You can request this at support@todayapp.com

There are 3 parts to a Quick Action: the Script (which is just an indicator), the Action (the name of the button), and the goal(s) it maps to.

For example, Appt (Script): Appt Kept (Action) - clicking this button will log towards a designated goal such as "Appointments Kept".

We first need to make each part is in place before setting up the button.

1. To create or verify the Script, go to Customization > Scripts > All Scripts. Most of the time the script part is just an identifier, so we often just select/add ":" for new Quick Actions (you can also add a new script by going to Customization > Scripts > New Scripts).

2. To create or verify the Action, go to Customization > Actions > All Actions.
3. To create or verify the Goal, go to Customization > Goals> All Goals.

Once you have your Script, Action, and Goal(s) added in, you can create the Quick Action.

To create the Quick Action, go to Customization > Scripts > Assign Goals. Using the drop-down menus, select the Script and then the Action. This will pull up the list of Goals to choose from. First, select the goal(s) and then select "Make this Action a Quick Action". If you check the box first it will not be set up properly.

Once the box is checked, you can visit the Dashboard to view or use the new Quick Action to log towards the Goal (which can be added to reports).

To remove a quick action in the future, simply go to Customization > Scripts > Assign Goals, select the Script and Action and then UNCHECK "Make this Action a Quick Action".
