Why doesn’t a team member have a dashboard?

  • If a team member does not have a dashboard, then they are not assigned to a dashboard report. See directions below to add them to a report. 

Why isn’t a team member on a report?

  • Team members must be assigned to a report in order for their data to show on the report. 
  • To assign them to a report, go to Reporting > All Reports > select the report you want to add them to > once opened, select the 3 dots in the top right > Edit > select their name under Assign Users > Save.
  • If there is an existing dashboard report that you wish to add a new user to, you can go to the dashboard of a user with that report, select Edit (in blue next to the title of the report) and select their name under Assign Users > Save. 

Why are the app count/premium calculations off?

  • Goals contain specified products, activities, or overall categories and will sometimes also contain calculations (most simply add the number of apps/premium/activities together). If a calculation seems off, it may be because there is something included or excluded from that particular goal. 
  • In some cases, it may help to try searching for a better-suited goal. For example, if you wish to exclude written Added Auto premium, then the goal New P&C Premium Written should be used instead of P&C Premium Written.
  • If custom products are added to the system (such as Pet Insurance, Gainsco etc.), they will need to be added to the subrule for that Goal. Only Admins or agents will be able to do this.

To view the calculations or categories being included in a goal, Agents/Admins must first identify the sub-rule by going to the side menu > Customization > Goals > All Goals > search/select the goal. The name of the sub-rule will be under the Goal Types. Then, to see what is being considered in this rule, go to the side menu > Customization > Comp Rules > All Sub Rules > search/select the subrule. Anytime there is a blue box next to a rule, you can select it to preview the further breakdown of that rule. 

To add a product to a subrule for a Goal:

  • Go to the side menu> Customization > Goals > All Goals >Search/select the goal and open it up to identify the subrule.
  • Go to the side menu > Customization > Comp Rules > All Sub Rules > Search/select the subrule to open, select the 3 dots > Edit > enter the product (with correct stage) > Save. 
  • Please note the following:
    • Certain categories include or exclude certain products intentionally, so in some cases, a different category should be used. 
    • We are happy to add products to the Goals for you.
