User not showing on Comp Report
There are two primary reasons why a user would not show on the pay report:
- The user may not be assigned to the Comp Plan. To verify or adjust this, the agent/Admins can go to Customization > Comp Plans > All Plans. If the user’s icon is not on any of the plans listed, select the plan the user should be assigned to, select the 3 dots in the top right > Edit. At the bottom, you can view, select, or deselect the assigned users to the plan. If you add a user to the plan, the pay report will need to be re-run for the change to register.
- That user has not met the requirements for commission. The pay report calculations are made based on the stage and date of the products in the Policy Finder for that time frame. Activities that have been entered up until that point are also considered. To verify if the requirements have been met, check the Policy Finder to see the products and their stage for that time frame as well as the Activities section to make sure the required activities have been entered to trigger commission.

Product/Policy not showing Comp Report
There are a few reasons why the Commission Column would show $0 for a policy:
- The policy is not in the right stage or date to be picked up by the pay report calculations. If the Comp Plan is set to pay on Issued and the policy has an issue date in another month OR is still in Written stage, it will not show on the report and no commission will be calculated.
- That user has not met the requirements for commission for that product. To verify if the requirements have been met, check the Policy Finder to see the products and their stage for that time frame as well as the Activities section to make sure the required activities have been entered to trigger commission.
- The product is not included or has not yet been added to the Comp Plan. The key indicator would be to see if other policies with the same product have calculated commission. If the product is newly added to the TodayApp, it will have to be added to the rules of the Comp Plan according to the agent’s specifications. Requests for updating the Comp Plan can be emailed to compensation@todayapp.com.

$0 Commission Column in Policy Finder
The commission column in Policy Finder is not a live commission figure. Instead, the commission will show in this column once the policy is shown on a pay report as a way to verify the calculations are correct.
There are a few reasons why the Commission Column would show $0 for a policy:
- A pay report has not been run for that time frame. Running a pay report is something Agents/Admins will have to do in the Compensation section.

If the product is newly added to the TodayApp, it will have to be added to the rules of the Comp Plan according to the agent’s specifications. Live Commission showing $0
There are two primary reasons why a user’s Live Compensation would be $0:
- That user has not met the requirements for commission. The Live Compensation is a month-to-date calculation that shows what a user has earned based on the stage and date of products (viewable in the Policy Finder) and activities (viewable in the Activities section) entered thus far. To verify if the requirements have been met, check the Policy Finder to see the products and their stage for that time frame as well as the Activities section to make sure the required activities have been entered to trigger commission.
- The user may not be assigned to the Comp Plan. To verify or adjust this, the agent/Admins can go to Customization > Comp Plans > All Plans. If the user’s icon is not on on any of the plans listed, select the plan the user should be assigned to, select the 3 dots in the top right > Edit. Once assigned (and if the requirements have been met for commission), the Live Compensation figure will calculate.

Inactive User on Comp Report
If there is an inactive user still showing on the pay report and you would like to remove them, you will need to remove their Base Pay on their profile.
To do this, go to Administration > All Users > select the “Inactive” tab near the top right (the default tab will be “Current” upon opening this page). Select the user profile and delete the figures in the Base Pay section > Save. With this removed, their name will not appear on the next report.
